Siblings Mickey Ray and Darcy Jean are informed that the automobile disaster that caused the death of their Mother and their Father’s multiple injuries including brain damage was not an accident but an attempted murder. The local police seem ambivalent, and their Aunt comes in with a forgotten Power of Attorney signed by their Father, Daniel, and tries to take control of the Real Estate holdings. The brother and sister team begin a power struggle and are physically threatened by unknown thugs which results in Mickey’s girlfriend disappearance which is presumed dead and Darcy Jean in hiding. James, Mickey’s best friend, a disfigured Ex-Military Black Ops operative, assists in the hunt to put a stop to the “takeover”. Terry Joe was born in 1951 in Columbia, South Carolina and grew up in Hampton, Va. For the past 45 years, he and his wife have invested in rental real estate from Delaware to North Carolina. Terry is a licensed building contractor and was licensed in four states doing commercial store build-outs. Presently, he is semi-retired but still manages their property in multiple states. He was president of an investment group, organized and taught real estate investment seminars using workbooks he wrote specifically for that purpose. The Landlord’s inheritance is his first novel and has a base in his experience in managing real estate rentals. He received a diploma from Eastern Baptist College, and a degree from Central Baptist Bible College in Religious Education (BRE). His hobby is collecting Rolls Royces and antique cars. He is currently working on the sequel to the “Landlord” series.
