The fear of a school shooting is, unfortunately, a reality we all must face. So, too, is bullying. The Cloud addresses these topics in a way that young people can relate to easily. A troubled teen who has given up on life, plans to end it all and take others with him. A cloud in the shape of a hand seems to follow him as he plans his day. A youth pastor and his group feels burdened to pray for a youth who has lost his way and many choose Kevin, not knowing of his plans. This short novel is sure to keep your teen on the edge of the seat until the very end. The Cloud would also make a good teaching tool for parents and youth groups with the thought provoking questions included.
